Starting out in business is hard work, and when I come across knitwear designers starting their own lines, I’m particularly wowed. Knitting, particularly hand-knitting, comes with longer lead times, higher startup costs and quality control issues. So I thought I’d bring in an expert to give us some advice on how to overcome these issues… cue knitwear entrepreneur Brownyn Lowenthal! Bronwyn is founder and design director of gorgeous knitwear brand Lowie. In this interview she reveals how she sold her designs from a market stall and grew into a thriving business with a retail outlet and stockists.
